Nursing Home Medics (NHM) based at My Doctors Clinic Varsity Lakes, is run by a group of experienced doctors with the aim of providing the best possible care to Aged Care residents. NHM is unique to the Gold Coast with a dedicated professional team of Doctors & Nurses to assist you and your family when in need. NHM General Practitioners have access to Specialists, on-site Allied Health Services & experienced nurses who are able to provide multi-disciplinary care.

• Our Doctors are specially trained in managing complex multiple conditions including medical, surgical, cognitive, psychiatric and ‘end of life care’.
• We also address preventive health care and screening, falls prevention program, poly-pharmacy as well as appropriate pain management.
• Specialist care is available when needed and is available organising hospital transfers.
• We are particularly pleased to have regular consultation access to Geriatrician. Dr. Mohammed Khateeb, who specialises in geriatric syndromes particularly Dementia, Mood and Behaviour Management in Nursing Homes and works both in public and private hospitals. He also has expertise in Mental Capacity Assessment.
• Bulk billing Allied Health services- Dietician, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Podiatrist and Psychologist are also available.
• Care Plan for complex medical conditions & Team care management with Health Assessments.
