About dr stephen clapham
Dr Stephen Clapham is a general practitioner at My Doctors Clinic Surfers Paradise. He completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, graduating MB BS with Honours, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
After finishing his hospital and general practice training in Sydney, he moved to Tamborine Mountain with his young family in 1988 and has practised on the Gold Coast ever since. Over that time he has been a supervisor for medical students and GP registrars, and has served as an examiner for the FRACGP exam.
Dr Clapham enjoys every aspect of general practice and sees patients of all ages, from young children through to seniors. Away from the clinic he enjoys gardening, water sports and — by his own admission — testing the neighbours’ patience with the banjo. Patients are welcome at any time, and he aims to make each visit relaxed and unhurried.
